Houzhi Liu

Houzhi Liu joined the group in the winter of 2021 as a doctoral student working on the environmental degradation of austenitic alloys in nuclear power plants using high-resolution microscopes. She has developed a characterization skillset that includes FIB, TEM, EBSD, TKD, EELS, and EDX. Prior to joining the group, she received her BEng degree in Nuclear Engineering and Technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and her MPhil degree in Nuclear Energy from the University of Cambridge.
