Alessandro Zanre

I obtained an MSci in Materials Science from the University of Cambridge and spent 2 years working as a consultant in the low carbon energy sector before starting my DPhil. In my research I am using atomic resolution STEM/EDX/EELS to map structure and composition of catalyst nanoparticles for hydrogen fuel cells alongside computational techniques to understand what structural factors are important for these catalysts to be successful. When not studying I enjoy listening to and playing music, rock climbing, and cooking.
